How does your hotel/resort fit in with and contribute to the surfing community and local community?

We hire only locals, in Sagana itself, and with all instructors, guides and drivers, etc. We have been part of the surfing community since we first visited the island in ’95  and we have been involved in all local issues from that time, including local health support, donations for the schools, and of course developing surfing. I also run the international event (WSL) and have been instrumental in all comps for locals.

Any thing else that we should know?

We also get many surfing families and can cater to any special needs (vegetarians, vegan, etc). We have the best restaurant on the island and cater to our guests only. We have the only swimming pool at Cloud 9 and we run the resort ourselves so we meet every guest!
