We have not been to review this hotel, but we know that it is waterfront to two or three famous Tenerife surf breaks in the Playa de las Americas area. General reports are that is fun but dated, with great staff. The set up looks ok for kids and the promenade out the front giving plenty of access to local restaurants and bars. The area is known to be touristy and over developed with large hotels and apartment blocks, so this is not a romantic or particularly adventurous destination for surfers. If you are looking for a family friendly European surf trip with no hassle, good year round weather, and are not too bothered by mass tourism then this could well be your best choice. Almost all alternatives in the Canaries require cars or boats to get to the local breaks, so this really does have its advantages for ease of access – a core essential criteria for Surftrip.Guru.
